Dr. Gulab Jha, Regional Director
  • Overall management and administration of Regional Centre, Delhi-I.
  • Coordination with various Schools, Divisions, Units, Centres, etc. of IGNOU.
  • Coordination with various Govt. Institutions, media for promotion of University programmes.
  • Matters related to establishment/up gradation of Learner Support Centres and coordination of their work.
  • Appointment and renewal of Coordinators/Programme In-charges/Academic Counsellors/Consultants, etc.
  • Coordination of Short-term non-credit programmes offered through the Regional Centre.
  • Leave cases pertaining to the Regional Centre staff.
  • PIO for RC Delhi-I.
  • All Legal matters.
  • Student grievances and discipline
  • Any other work assigned by the Director, RSD/Hqrs.
 
Dr. D. B. Damle, Deputy Director
  • Procuring of SLMs from MPDD and its distribution to the students, LSCs and others.
  • Coordination of the assignment data processing of all programmes from all LSCs including assignment evaluation pertaining to old students/stray cases.
  • Overall coordination of the activities of BCA/MCA, Project Synopsis and Reports including evaluation and transmission of data to the SED.
  • All matters pertaining to the Schools/Division SOA, SOCIS, SOGDS, SOJNMS, SOL, SOSS, SOTHSM, MPDD.
  • Conduct of Orientation/Training programmes/Meetings pertaining to above mentioned Schools.
  • All matters (including activation of programmes) pertaining to the Learner Support Centres at 0713, 0722, 0739(P), 0750(P), 0757, 0758(P), 0766(P), 0793(P), 0799(P), 1015(P), 07103, 07129, 07134(P), 07139(P), 07141(D), 07143(D), 07153, 07154(D), 07161(D), 07162(P), 07165(P), 07168(D).
  • Establishment of Special Study Centres in the region.
  • All RTI/legal matters pertaining to the assigned work in consultation with Dr. Shyni Duggal.
  • Any other work assigned by the Regional Director.
 
Dr. Jayashree Kurup, Deputy Director
  • All issues related to examinations including On-demand Examination, Practical and Entrance Examinations of the University.
  • Coordination of all type of practicals (including B.Ed./M.Ed. Workshops) and projects (except BCA/MCA), in the region, communicating with the concerned Schools for deputing examiners, giving permission to the students, transmission of awards to the SED, etc.
  • All issues related to the admissions of merit-based programmes.
  • Coordination with the LSCs for compilation, analysis and preparation of Monthly Monitoring Reports.
  • All matters pertaining to the Schools/Division SOCE, SOET, SOHS, SOSW, SOEDS, SOVET, SOITS, EMPC, SED, NCIDE.
  • Conduct of Orientation/Training Programmes/Meetings pertaining to above mentioned Schools.
  • All matters (including activation of programmes) pertaining to the Learner Support Centres at 0707, 0710, 0723 (P), 0735 (P), 0744 (P), 0789 (D), 0790(P), 0798(P), 1007, 1042, 1043(P), 07102, 07135(D), 07138(P), 07151(P), 07156(D), 07157(P), 07163(P), 07164(D), 07166(P) 07167(D).
  • All issues related to Induction Programmes at the LSCs.
  • All issues related to RC and SC Libraries.
  • Appointment and renewal of Academic Counsellors, Evaluators, Observers including upkeep and maintenance of the database of the Academic Counsellors for all the programmes.
  • All matters pertaining to IRC/Teleconferencing/EDUSAT.
  • Establishment of all Programme Study Centres in the region.
  • All RTI/legal matters pertaining to the assigned work in consultation with Dr. Shyni Duggal.
  • Any other work assigned by the Regional Director.
 
Dr. Shyni Duggal, Assistant Regional Director
  • All admission and re-registration related matters (except for merit-based programmes) including upkeep and maintenance of the students’ records.
  • Management and coordination of the Student Support Cell (face-to-face, telephonic, e-mail, etc.)
  • Management and reconciliation of student admission data with SRD.
  • Matters pertaining to change of Regional Centre/LSCs/programmes/electives/courses/ medium.
  • Issue of confirmation letters, Identity Cards (including duplicate), Migration Certificates, NOCs to the learners.
  • All matters pertaining to the Schools/Division of SOS, SOH, SOMS, SOE, SOTST, SOPVA, SOFL, STRIDE.
  • Conduct of Orientation/Training Programmes/Meetings pertaining to above mentioned Schools.
  • All matters (including activation of programmes) pertaining to the Learner Support Centres at 0700, 0706, 0711, 0724 (P), 0742 (D), 0743(D), 0747, 0753 (P), 0765 (P), 0787, 0791(P), 0795(P), 07125(P), 07131(P), 07133(P), 07140(P), 07145(D), 07160(P), 07169(P).
  • All issues related to appointment, renewal of Coordinators/PICs, functionaries of all LSCs.
  • Data entry of Demand Drafts/remittance to the Accounts Section/refund of fees to the learners/issue of rejection letters to the students, etc.
  • Preparation for the Convocation including arranging for the Exhibition, Art Work and other related matters.
  • Preparation of publicity and promotion material including publicity brochures/handbills etc.
  • Coordinators’/PICs meeting, Orientation Programmes (general) for Academic Counsellors.
  • Coordination, maintenance and updation of RC website.
  • Establishment of Regular Study Centres in the region.
  • All RTI/legal matters pertaining to the assigned work.
  • Any other work assigned by the Regional Director.
 
Assistant Registrar
  • All administrative and financial matters (both Plan and Non-Plan) pertaining to the Regional Centre including fee, processing of all bills, etc.
  • Preparation of budget including re-appropriation of budget.
  • Supervision and preparation of monthly statement of expenditure and receipts.
  • Receipt of DDs from admission section and its deposit in the Bank.
  • Procurement and distribution of Prospectus including maintaining sale of form account and its reconciliation.
  • Procurement of furniture and equipments, stationary items, printing, stock verification, (both consumable and non-consumable) etc.
  • Salary of the Regional Centre staff and Study Centres.
  • Income Tax and TDS related matters, as per Income Tax rules.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of book of accounts, cash books, registers and related items pertaining to administration and finance.
  • All Audit related matters.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of office premises including security arrangement.
  • Establishment related matters such as staff attendance, service books, its regular updation, leave records, etc.
  • Coordination with LSCs pertaining to finance and administration including release of advances, etc.
  • All matters pertaining to advertisement, printing, photocopy, etc.
  • Upkeep and maintenance of computers, printers, various equipments, furniture, including Annual Maintenance Contracts, etc.
  • All RTI/legal matters pertaining to the assigned work in consultation with Dr. Shyni Duggal.
  • Any other work assigned by the Regional Director.
 
Shri Rajeev Kumar, Private Secretary
  • Assist the Regional Director in all matters pertaining to the conduct of multifarious activities of the Regional Centre including upkeep and maintenance of various records/correspondences in the RD’s secretariat.
  • Assist the Regional Director in coordination of all file work/correspondences related to short-term non-credit programmes.
  • Any other work assigned by the Regional Director.
 
Smt. Kavita Dutta, Semi Professional Assistant
  • All matters pertaining to the activities of Library of the Regional Centre.
  • All matters pertaining to Hindi Rajbhasha Prakoshtha of the Regional Centre including preparation and compilation of various reports.
  • Coordination with the academic sections regarding maintenance and updation of the information on the RC Notice Board.
  • Will report to Dr. Purnendu Tripathi.
  • Any other work assigned by the Regional Director.

  • Will assist Dr. D.B.Damle in all work related to assignment, SLMs, including attending to student queries.

  • Will assist Assistant Registrar in all matters pertaining to establishment, administration and accounts.
  • Stock Verification of Regional Centre and Study Centres under the supervision of AR.
  • Maintenance of equipment, furniture, fixtures, building, etc.
  • Printing, purchase, stores, AMCs under the supervision of AR.
  • Processing all types of recoupment bills/advances, maintenance of its receipts and payment records.
  • Monthly reconciliation statements pertaining to various account of the Regional Centre (expenditure account, fee account, sale of form account, etc.).
  • Any other work assigned by the Regional Director.
 
Smt. Sumitra Dhawan, Executive Assistant
  • Processing of all recoupment bills/advances of the LSCs, payment to the collaborating institutions offering various STNC programmes.
  • Processing of medical bills of the RC staff.
  • Upkeep and maintenance of advances released to LSCs.
  • Will report to the Assistant Registrar.
  • Any other work assigned by the Regional Director.
 
Shri Sohan Pal, Executive Assistant
  • All matters related to finance and accounts including fee account, sale of form account, expenditure account.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of cash book/book of accounts and other financial records.
  • Maintenance of all paid bills/vouchers of the Regional Centre and the LSCs.
  • Assistance in preparation of budget, re-appropriation of budget and other related matters.
  • Preparation of monthly reconciliation statements pertaining to various accounts of the Regional Centre (expenditure account, fee account, sale of form account, etc.)
  • Tax deduction at source, its deposition in relevant accounts, Issue of Form 16 and 16-A as per Income Tax norms.
  • Will report to the Assistant Registrar.
  • Any other work assigned by the Regional Director.
 
Shri Girish Kumar, Assistant Executive (DP)
  • Will assist Dr. D.B.Damle in all work related to generation of labels for distribution of SLMs, coordination of BCA/MCA project evaluation, assignment data processing of all programmes, including attending to student queries.

Shri Ajit Prakash Tirkey, Assistant Executive (DP)
  • Will assist Dr. Shyni Duggal in all admission related work including matters related to changes in RC/SC/programme/course/elective/name/address including attending to student queries.
